I like the sound of the course so far but I really hate the Macs. I have the option of buying a laptop and thus never needing to use the computer suite at the college however I also have a free opportunity to learn a little about Macs. I have to accept that using the Macs will be frustrating, slow and will require one of the instructors to be around to answer my luddite questions where as if I buy a laptop I can just crack on with the coursework and not worry about the computer. Do I really need to know about Macs anyway? I dont plan on using one or working in a field where its required? ARGH! Indecision!
