I like to give gifts to make people happy as much as the next person. Gifts get a bad name during the holidays as a distraction from the meaning of Christmas, however, gifts play a role in the Christmas story, just not the ones found in malls or catalogues. 1st is Gods gift of unconditional love. Next was selflessness and complete surrender of ego required to bring heaven to earth in the form of a teenage girl named Mary. Next was trust and blind faith from a young man named Joseph that there was a Divine plan as to why his fiance was with child. The child she bore brought forgiveness, wholeness, 2nd chances and gift of eternal life. The Christmas story is all about gifts, giving such gifts, opening our hearts to receive such gifts. Thank God for Christmas gifts. Merry Christmas and a new year full of prosper, blessings and love!
