I like to keep it real. I dont run a lottery racket where its all fake stuff on facebook and everything is lollipops... theres WORK to do when youre building a diverse business that serves people from all walks of life in all kinds of projects they need an assist in. AND today was my Sammys 3 year birthday... heres how it went down: 1. While the girls were getting ready to go to breakfast to celebrate, I wrote a couple facebook posts and replied to a couple emails and fb messages. 2. On the way to breakfast, Pammy was driving and I turned on my MiFi and laptop and wrote a blog post and an email to invite people to the posts and to a conference call... my phone started blowing up and I lost signal haha. 3. We had breakfast. Sammy and Valerie like rocking on the rocking charis at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and playing on the giant checkers board. 4. My phone was blowing up during breakfast. I let calls go to voicemail but replied to a couple PMs from Facebook and emails. I saw sales notifications rolling in via email on my phone. Its nice to know money rolled in from thin air that paid for breakfast... :) Sales were for a marketing system tool suite and other sales for a traffic program. All sales came from people clicking around my blog. 5. After breakfast, we went to the movies with the girls. Played in the arcade to buy 30 minutes of time waiting for the show. We took pics and uploaded them to facebook. 6. We watched the movie (it was empty in there so I...) and I was replying to some 911 requests for my link to buy stuff and a couple other people just had final questions about other stuff they wanted to buy from seeing it on my blog or email follow ups they received from my autoresponder. 7. Girls went shopping. Dad got dumped at Starbucks. I wrote some fb posts and sent out another email. I edited my blog post with a pic and other new information that helped make sales. I ordered a tall, verdona and stirred in 2 sugars and a touch of half & half. 8. I read a post on Mike Dillards facebook about Starbucks having teamed up with Monsato and my coffee flew out my nose and I got a headache... MONSANTO??? I have to call it quits with you now, Starbucks!!! Dumb dumbs. 9. The girls picked me up and we started rolling home 10 minutes before our big conference call. 10. Pammy stopped by a taco stand to buy some tacos and quesadillas on the way home... I was listening to our conference call and checking facebook with my laptop on my MiFi... good signal. 11. Cedrick Harris called me out for a quick testimonial on the conference call and I realized I was not on the moderator line... I was on the normal line... friends started PMing me telling me Ced was looking for me on the call and I wasnt there... lol. 12. Ced messaged me the mod code and dialed into the call and gave a quick testimonial... the girls were going BANANAS in the background getting ready to celebrate Sammys blow out the candles birthday cake... 13. We did the cake ceremony right after the conf call. Took pics... posted on facebook (our family album for pics)... and my phone and inbox were blowing up with people wanting links, final questions and letting me know they were buying stuff and joining me. Cool feeling! 14. I caught the end of the Steelers win on Monday Night Football... and realized we forgot to take the cat out while we were gone all day... stinky!! 15. We had forgotten the litter box outside... boo hoo... my bad! 16. Here I am... been answering and replying to prospects, teammates and customers and closing sales... not really closing but just taking orders and handling some final questions... our content, videos and calls do most of the selling. A day in the life of a full time online marketer building a home business from HIS home... not everybody elses homes... there with my kids (as much as possible) and my wife. Not perfect. I got frustrated a couple times today... but everything worked out great... and it was WAY BETTER than my best day working for the man. Any entrepreneurs out there? :) Tomorrow will be some kind of awesome too! #HomeBusinessOnlineRocks!
