I like to pretend that all my Facebook friends are crazy interested in what I do for a living and are just waiting for a detailed and approachable explanation to come their way and bathe them in the glory that is EVE. So here it is. What this trailer has above and beyond all others is that it actually includes realy player chatter in it. The scenes are staged by our video experts, but they are based on chatter sent to us from our player audio logs. What it achieves is the best explanation of how to have fun in EVE, and its not so far off from how to have fun in real life. EVE isnt so much about playing a game with spaceships as its about forming relationships with people, and the environment happens to be in space. This is what the trailer highlights rather than highlighting the fun you might have shooting computer controlled spaceships down. Cause spaceships are fun, but they have a fairly short lifespan. Relationships are forever, or at least for as long as youre willing to maintain them.
