I like to tell stories to you all so here is a George Strait story.I asked Georges manager Erv along time ago ( I know a lot of you here in Nashille know Erv real well and can back me up on this) I asked him.What was it like to have your first #1 song? Evr said Well back then we didnt have cell phones we would have to call into the label and check where we are on the charts and sometimes we wouldnt get to a phone for awhile.He said I noticed that fans was liking our song we had out so I decided I would call in and check on it.Erv said when I called in the label said yeah your song is doing well its been #1 for a week now...Erv is a nice man with a big heart I am sure glad he took time to tell me this story....George Strait your entertainer of the year.
