I like your new band. Whoa nelly! Heres the story with my band situation: Its all in the works and Im actually not trying to put together a new band that will be my band permanently. Im creating different configurations for different shows and different tours (and Im having a lot fun doing it, to be honest.) Im also playing solo a fair amount, which I LOVE to do. But it requires the right setting (aka, a listening environment, aka preferably not hammered people yelling at me, etc.). So its a bit all over the place as to what Ill have and where, and I appreciate you all rolling with this. My job is to put on a great show no matter what, and I intend to do that. Ill try to be as clear as I can about each show so that you know what youre signing up for. This Fridays show on Cape Cod will be a quartet: Tom Arey on drums, Marc Friedman on bass, and Matt Zeiner on keys. The midwest and Colorado shows will be solo.
