I liked some of the local news outlets around my area so I have an idea of when important things are going on around here. Im sure other people do the same thing. I dont mind when they post stories from out of the area that may spark intelligent conversation, but some of the comments I see are so bigoted and dogmatic that it literally pains me to read it. Im not saying people shouldnt excerise their right to state their opinions, but how can you just vehemently deny anyone elses opinion, and ultimately their choices, by immediately discarding it without thought because it goes against what they were taught? Its very closed minded, and in my opinion, discredits their entire argument. I am referring to the young woman who chose to end her suffering due to a stage 4 brain tumor. To those who are basically saying shes going to burn in hell (I am paraphrasing), I have something thing to say to you. Stop focusing on spewing hatred and comments about blasphemy. You are casting yourself and what you stand for in a negative light. There is a verse in the Bible that says, God is love. Maybe thats what you should strive for instead of grabbing your pitch forks and torches.
