I literally dont even know where to start. Yesterday was the most - TopicsExpress

I literally dont even know where to start. Yesterday was the most incredibly insane day of my life. I have only just woken up and still feel a little shell shocked and over whelmed by it all. I tried to put into words yesterday just how much it means to me but i didnt really touch on the whole money side of it all... The incredible amount of £3000 that I could not have dared to even hope for would have once meant a lot of shoes and a really good holiday but today that means even more to me. £3000 is plane tickets, a place to say, two consultations and any extra tests I may need. It also means counselling, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, splints and supports. I will not have to pay out for another prescription for a very very long time. As I said last night this really will give me my life back. Thank you for not just helping me to see the light at the end of the tunnel but for being that light at the end of the tunnel. I tried to say thank you some people yesterday but I really could write a book filled with people to thank and still not have said enough. I dont think I can set a book as a status! I can only give these short pathetic words which are nothing compared to what you have given me... Thank you to everyone that was there, it was an incredible visual reminder of the support and network of people I can reach out to. People pulling together - friends, family and even strangers, it really is amazing. Thank you all for any donation you have made, if you were unable to make one simply being there is still incredible and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. To the people who couldnt make it - your kind words of support and encouragement still help to get me through, on bad days I can re-read them and smile again. Thank you. Any donation has not gone unnoticed, be it time, energy, money, talent, a place, food, prizes, gifts or love. I have been extremely humbled by the event and and will always treasure the memories . I have had enough hugs and well wishes to get me through even my hardest days :) If you believe in God then may he bless you, If you believe in Santa may he bless you, If you believe in karma then may it be good to you. Whoever/whatever you believe in I Hope they grant you good things only and always. I dream that one day I will hold a similar event for you all. An event where I might sing for you. This event will mark the day of being told I am lupus free.
