I load both .45 LC cowboy loads in my 1858 Remington conversion - TopicsExpress

I load both .45 LC cowboy loads in my 1858 Remington conversion and Schofield loads from time to time.....not at the same time of course, and sometimes, depending on the manufacturer, the .45 LC loads are nearly too long for the chamber. On the left of this cylinder are the Schofield loads and on the right, .45 LC. No extra chamber space with the .45 LC, but there is with the Schofield. Now if it is common practice to use a filler with a cap & ball cylinder, what do we do about the Schofield loads in the conversion cylinder? Because I notice absolutely no difference in accuracy between the Schofield and the >45 LC loads.
