I lodged a complaint against the handling of my Grandchildrens case with DHS then the Senior CM called and said what can she do to make me happy. I told her she could place the children either in South Australia or back in Mildura she said thats not going to happen so what else could she do I explained that was all we wanted. She offered to email updates and photos every 2 weeks and said she would send me her personal mobile number so we could contact her with any concerns been 2 weeks and nothing .My Son received kids report cards but she promised to also forward to me as well but like I said nothing. She also said if we want to send emails to the kids via her she would ensure they got them so I got the email address from my son and I will be sending an email every week I also keep a email file for the boys when they grow up we can show them. I sent one last week and will keep it up. I also contacted the complaints department and said I was not happy with what had happened and if they think getting a phone call asking what can I do to make you happy will make me go away they are badly mistaken. Then I got a call from her Senior who said that they would not consider moving the children as there plan is reunification with the mother who has drug addiction mental health issues tried to kill herself and the kids and has been verbally and possibly physically abusing them.I filled her in on lots of the lies that have been made such as its more important for step siblings to have a relationship than for a father to have a relationship with his sons and the offer of 2x2 hour visits a year in Bundaberg a year we live in Adelaide they have denied this even though it is documented and the last CM told me the boys do not want to see there Father in November they had to hold them back so we and there father could leave as they were hanging on to him crying . She then said she thinks she should access there file and call me back next week lets see what other lies they come up with next. In all this the Children seem to be forgotten its all about pride for them.
