I looked at real pics of the Cummins engine. There were slight variations so i did all i could see to fix the kit errors or upgrade the parts. Its not tedious or boring, its fun. no point rushing a kit...i could have built the truck in a weekend if i had wanted, but i wanted to learn new things, try ideas etc as never done a truck before. It also meant i have learnt about about trucks, Kenworths etc. not a lot but a little......its about enjoying the hobby and trying to do better than your last build So far its been 3 months to where i am now, most of the time has been sat down, trying to find real pics and then working out what to use. next truck build will be much quicker, this and the scratchbuilt gooseneck trailer wont be complete until autumn at the earliest.
