I love... - William McDowell, his life of surrender and obedience - TopicsExpress

I love... - William McDowell, his life of surrender and obedience to God humbles me. I listened to his testimony once and i was awe struck. Him music captivates me, but i think i love the man more than i love his music. - Tasha Cobbs, I dont know her much but i listened to a few of her songs and one radio interview and i loved her perspective on worship. She believes that everyone is a worship leader and we should take worship beyond the songs and the music. I need to find more of her music and connect to her heartbeat. - Don Moen and Alvin Slaughter have always been my favorites and that wont change. This two legends and maybe i should include Ron Kenoly have always been my greatest, never in and out of fashion for me. You should listen to I Will Run To You by Alvin and you will just love him. - Kim Walker is such a wonderful psalmist with her signature laughter lol. I love her simplicity on stage and the minister she is in her music, one of her songs How He Loves Us is just one great example of ministering through a song and wow, do i love that song and the minister in the song lol. - Tim Hughes wrote one of the songs i fell totaly in love with and since the first time i listened to it and my love for it has survived seosons and though seosons change my love for Here I Am To Worship by Tim has stood the test of time. I love the song. - James Okon, I love his creativity in song, hehe, uJames (His zulu name)lol, is one man who can turn an old song to become a breath of fresh air. He sang Malibongwe and it felt new to me, i also love the way he blends different African cultures together in his music. Viva Jamzee (his colony name, lol) Viva. Keep the fire burning bro. - Well, i dont only listen to gospel music, i sometimes listen to Jazz, I love afro Jazz very much. I listen to old soul music too and old school music makes more sense that recent music to me and being the old schooler i am, i am very comfy with my old school. - I know someone would say what about other local gospel musicians? Well thats my story for another day. Music reveals the heart of a man and i believe in this generation we need more heart revealing musicians more than the stage gymnasts and peformances. But i have heard young and devoted musicians i believe the Lord is raising in this generation and i appreciate their ministries. I encourage them to seek the heart of God and to breath the heart of God in their music. Prophetically breathed music is the future and this is a seoson to sing freshly heaven breathed songs relevant for this generation. Finally to the young musicians, the kind of musicians you listen to the most and those who inspire you will determine the kind of musician you will become. Well, if you watch too much of stage gymnasts and intertainers, you will become just that, but if you listen to ministers in song, you will become just that. So, watchout who inspires you, it matters very much. I love you and God bless you Shalom
