I love Marge Simpson. Shes very progressive and left-wing, and always votes for the Democrats (who are sadly the closest thing the U.S has to a mainstream political left, even though they are TOTALLY neoconservative, and I hate them, just less so than the batshit GOP). What I love even more about her is that she is one of those housewives who is SO socially-progressive, yet is often caught off-guard when her political and social views come up in her own personal life and stare her in the face. Yet, she always works through them and reaffirms her progressivism. Go MARGE!
