I love a bargain, as long as it is a real bargain and today, - TopicsExpress

I love a bargain, as long as it is a real bargain and today, rather than let everyone else (read that as the travel agents do the work and get the profit) I decided to complete this side of this itinerary; and it was worth it... really worth it.! Massive, massive savings but taking my business outside of “rip-off Britain.” All booked up now and ready to go, go, go. I did not realise just how much tax the UK system rips off you for flights compared to other countries. Yes, I know all countries hit you with tax but the UK is just too much. A set of four flights between the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand; if bought (same airline company and flight plan) from within the UK, generates approx. £800 in tax and fees, yet done outside the UK (via the web and in $USD) and those taxes and fees are less than $175.00… we are such Muppets in this country, seriously this crap drives me crazy cos it is just pure bloody greed… and we all put up with it... well some of us... ... anyway, all done, hotels all booked up... AND.. I spilt the flights between Emirates and Malaysian Airways, this way I still get my chauffeur drive pick up from home to airport to hotel and back again.. Looking forward to see what the Business Class Lounge at Malaysian Airways is like - I am told they really look after you.. well I am ready to be looked after.. Again, roll on November 2014.! booking/hotel/id/puri-yuma.en-gb.html?aid=303948;sid=95c3415046738ae0ba820b665baa4ec7;dcid=2
