I love a good 90% of the bands who`s music I have promoted over the years via the gigs I put together and who`s tunes I play the shitter out of on community radio. Most of these acts I consider my friends. Unfortunately I`ve been on the receiving end of some rock star arrogance from a couple of acts in recent times (how can you be a rock star and be unrecorded???). I`m not gonna name names (thats not my way), and I`m not one to jump up and down and carry on...I just quietly make mental notes. As does the venues I book these acts into. Its us musical nerds (We are many) that support your music, create gigs and get your tunes on air...Looking down your nose at us just ensures you have a very limited shelf life...If the opportunities from my way dry up, then maybe you should think through your attitude. I`m happy to support any act with talent and originality. But I won`t be treated as a servant or tolerate blunt rudeness.
