I love drum and bass this is true... It saddens me when I see releases that are on BeatPort/Itunes etc.. that are are basically sub standard, not on parr and just churned out to make a buck, poor production values and essentially in some cases sample pack generic sonds just stitched together... very poor indeed. As Much As dnb steals, borrows, takes and mimics other musical generes it is an art form in itself and must be treated in this way. I urge you all as Junglsits if you hear something that is not great then point it out, it is not being malicious, it is being fair and Responsible to the scene of which we all love so very dearly.... Label managers that own labels just to make money are irresponsible, They are irresponsible to the artists they are representing, they are irresponsible to the scene and are irresponsible to your ears and soul. Step up your game get real or get out....
