I love having little rituals with the kids. When they were little id sing them goodnight songs that I have no clue how I decided to put them together. I would pull Nicks covers up around his neck and then tuck his blankets around him like a mini burrito.Then Jessie and I have a thing where we put a kiss in our hand an squish it into each others ears. Angie and I hug and scratch and rub each others back and laugh how good it feels. And Aiden, I turn on his night light, his white noise fan and wind up his fire extinguisher music box. I say goodnight and give him a hug which he latches on and says Im not letting you go to which I have to tickle him to get away. I feel lucky that even as grown as my kids are they still tell me they love me when they are leaving or before they hang up the phone. And Aiden and I say I love you then race to see who can say More, most , best first. Im a pretty lucky mom!
