I love healing in unexpected places. Today I posted an excerpt from a love story I am writing. Someone commented Mills & Boone tripe. After I realized that they were insulting the writing, I had the most wonderful response. I laughed. Years ago, I would probably have lay down for two days healing from the criticism. But now, its just a delicious opportunity to work through my early childhood issues around criticism. Where once criticism defined me, now I define me. It goes to show you that most anything can be a depth charge for our own healing if we have the intention to work through our responses. So bring it on, baby.
