I love my country Malaysia. Whats not to love about Malaysia? We have summer all year round. We speak 3 languages but we understand each other perfectly well. We have more variety of dishes to choose from than I can name. We celebrate each others religious festivals like its our own. The writer of this article needs to realise that there is a difference between the government and the country. The government is the people we, the rakyat, elect to help organize and run the country. If they dont do a good job, we must complain. If they dont improve we will elect someone else. When I criticize the handling of MH370, I am not trashing my country. Only an idiot would put the blame on a piece of land. I am trashing the people handling the issue, our government. I am trashing the people in our government who can make the right decisions in times like these, but did not. I am trashing the government who chose to lie rather than tell the truth (Interpol passport checks, radar coverage, etc). The list goes on. Before you label me a traitor, understand the difference between a country and its government. And please, Im not a Malaysian Chinese. Im a Malaysian. Enough with the racial labels.
