I love our small town, I try to stay positive, try to help when I can . I dont like to fundraise, ask for volunteer help, but when it comes to my children, Ill jump in with a smile. While organizing a simple car wash , I got to hear more negativity from our town and reasons why they cant or wont help. SAD.This morning while doing some of the things I like least I nearly got run over by those trying to avoid my request, snapped at by a really nasty man with some anger issues, and almost got my feelings hurt enough to toss in the towel. This is so sad, we complain that things need to get better, we need this and that support for our children, and when the opportunity to do just that ( gosh and maybe have some fun with our child and their friends) it is such an awful experience , no wonder no one wants to help. Ill be fine and hopefully will raise some money for our boys sake. Whining over. Oh, by the way there is a car wash this Saturday the 12th at Old town Pizza for the football team at DCHS . $10 a car, 11am til 5pm . Yall come and show a little of that Tiger Spirit I know is out there.
