I love seeing the body at work! So often it seems to look like a contest of who is most right... this comes across in judgement and condemnation (ie.... if you dont live like this then you are doing it wrong). But... when someone gets it, truly gets that God is love and we are never more like Him than when we are doing love, they do things that truly touch hearts. Its about more than doing and saying the right things, Jesus certainly didnt do and say the things that impressed the religious folks. Jesus did love... to the least deserving. He offered kindness, compassion, forgiveness and freedom to the hurting and disenfranchised. I just read a story of this type of compassion... people rallying together to lift up a broken sister. There was no meeting held to evaluate her worthiness or spiritual fervor. The acts of kindness were not motivated by her but by Him. When He is our motivation things just look different... we are no longer impressing people but touching hearts.
