I love singing! There are times, like earlier this week, when I doubt my ability to do so. So much so, that I had seriously considered withdrawing from the comp last Wed night and yes, Im EXTREMELY glad that I stuck it out. :D Last night was, also, a reminder of why I love performing so much. One guy told me that Stevie Kaze and I singing Midnight Special was the highlight of his night. Another guy kept begging me to sing more and more songs. There have been many other nights that Ive had this kind of reaction and I thrive on it. Last night was also a prime example of when the vibe within a venue can bring out the best in you and your performance. Everyone was there purely to appreciate music, regardless of genre, and enjoy being with others with the same mindset. That kind of vibe is intoxicating and addictive!
