I love social media. Of course it has pros and cons, but when used purposefully, its a great tool to use. However, within the past few weeks, it has revealed a hard truth... Here it is---> People will follow any trend, but neglect the truth. (This is no way intended to be deep and/or religious)... I must admit, these challenges have been fun, humorous, and some with worthy causes. Ok cool...my simple thought is this: You freely challenge others to set their bodies on fire, pour ice water on their heads, sing worship songs, etc. Crazy thing is, MILLIONS have followed these trends. But.....if I invite about ten of you to worship service, maybe three will come. What if MILLIONS followed the TRUTH? What if the church could convince the world that the greatest trend is to follow Christ and Christ only? Just think about it... (No condemnation in this post...just an eye-opener) Which trend are you following? #IFollowChristAndChristAlone
