I love sports. Theyre one thing where Ive always been able to see good along with the bad. Baseball, as Ive stated has been my favorite sport. Growing up in northeast Missouri my allegiance has been to the Cardinals (and it will remain). That being said, I want to thank the Royals players and coaches. You gave all of Missouri something to cheer for. You played hard and showed respect for your opponent and for Americas past time. I saw enthusiasm and excitement from my children for a team they fell in love with this post season. You want your kids to like the things you like so you have a common bond. After these playoffs Im good with my kids being Royals fans because the Royals exemplified the underdog heart and soul that we all love. Its why we cheer for the Davids to beat the Goliaths of the world. The Royals may have lost the series but they gained a ton of love and respect from this family. Thank you again for giving us something positive to cheer for in the world of sports.
