I love talking to women, especially young women, about the sport of figure. Through the journey there is so much to discover about yourself. We realize our strengths and weaknesses as we are constantly being challenged physically & mentally. We learn a lot about people & who our true friends are as we take on a lifestyle to better ourselves. Ive talked to a handful of women who were all interested in competing, but just werent ready to commit & make the sacrifices. In April, after Sydney saw here first show, she came to me & said she was ready to start training for one. It meant a lot knowing she trusted me to help her and never once along the way did she doubt me. She followed our plan & rarely complained....occasionally she thought shed puke, but never did, lol. Sydney has shown tremendous determination & commitment. Here she is one week out from stepping on stage as a figure competitor at OCB Florida West Coast Classic Nov. 8th, and I couldnt be more proud of her. No matter what place she comes in...shes already a winner! All the work is done..now lets go have some fun...Super Freak, XO!
