I love the International Justice Mission. Today when we hear justice we often think of economic justice and equality for the poor. So I shd clarify that IJM uses the term in a more precise way--that the problem, too often, is that victims of slavery and trafficking cannot get justice because of corruption. There may even be laws on the books, but the police or judges are bribable and corrupt. IJM rescues slaves and helps them to heal, but also works for legal justice, so that breaking girls in this way is not so easy, and not so profitable. What a sad world we live in. Lord Jesus, have mercy.
