I love the elderly- so much. Yesterday at Acme..I gave up my moms favorite danish to a cute old couple because it was the last one. I gave 2 elderly vets all the cash in my pocket which was $15- as a donation. Then I helped a disabled elderly man carry 8 bottles of soda to his car after watching him try to load them all on his walker, and dropping one every step he made. Its the little things in life that make someones day. I hope when im old- the younger generation is not too far gone, and I will be helped. I have never seen so many elderly people smile so big in a matter of an hour. The best part was when the disabled man tried to pay me and began crying bc I helped. I told him I would never take his money-and I saw how much I truly touched his heart. You never know someones situation...if you are presented with an opportunity to help- then do it! Be selfless and kind. Everyone iso stuck on their phones to realize you can make someones day.
