I love the holiday season (and by holiday season I mean now through News Years Day)! I love all of the cooking, baking, eating, visiting, decorating, remembering, oohing and ahhing! I get warm fuzzies just thinking about it!! When we first began our Eat Cheap! journey with the goal of me being a full-time stay-at-home momma, we adjusted all of our spending--and the holiday spending was tough for this girl! We broke a few traditions...and started new ones in their places. And, I must say, eleven years into this journey, we would NOT go back! We have SO MUCH peace about the choices we made, and we truly feel as though we are celebrating these holidays according to our true priorities--and that our family is better for it! At this Thursdays Eat Cheap! class in Greens Fork, I will be sharing some of the changes we made that have helped us meet our financial goals. Here are the details again: Eat Cheap! with Trista Hill will be at Greens Fork Christian Church(116 E. Pearl St.) on Thursday, November 14th from 6:00 til 8:00. I will share the common sense, biblical principles that we have used to feed our family of five for $200/month for the past 11 years.
