I love the look of the first painted wall. Did you know that Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan is the perfect medium to create a look like this on a wall? These colors remind me of Chalk Paint® colors Napoleonic Blue, Louis Blue, French Linen, and Old White. The second painted wall I painted with colors French Linen, Paris Grey, and Old White. Here are the steps: I painted the entire room in French Linen. Next I used a trowel and applied the Paris Grey and Old White on the wall dragging the trowel downward to create this look. This is a very easy and quick application. No need to apply wax. This painting technique is a great way to camouflage a flawed wall. I also painted this same technique over wallpaper in my breakfast room.
