I love the movie Chariots of Fire and the story of Eric Liddell, who chose to honor God in what some of us would consider a strange way. In turn, he was honored by God. The movie does not show Liddells end but does report it - he died while serving as a missionary in China. I am sure there are many of us who remember this story. I love the part where Liddell tells another, When I run, I sense Gods pleasure. God blessed him with legs, and he used them for Gods glory. I love when I use my gifts for God and sense His pleasure. :) I challenge the younger crowd out there in Facebookland who have never seen this movie to check it out. It is an inspiring story of running a race in such a way as to please God. Here is the theme song from the movie. You should have seen this scene up there on the big screen. :)
