I love this clip and I think that I have used it in a rant before, the problem that USA populace currently has is that it assumes were number one in everything. If we could get the nation to realize that we have fallen and fallen hard from not only the top of education, science, healthcare, but from the ideals that our nation was founded on maybe we could fix it. Too many of us use events to further our own financial/political goals despite the impact to our nation. This isnt a one sided thing either, if we broke it down to the false dichotomy of the Left and the Right both sides use horrific acts of violence or misfortune to support a view point or make a profit. Active Shooters, Police Violence, Corporate/Political Corruption, Gender Equality, LGBT Discrimination, GMOs, Healthcare, Global Warming, and National Budget/Taxes are on the short list of these. Its not as easy as it once was, when you could put a face to a common enemy, the Nazis, the Communists, ect. without a common enemy history shows a state will begin to look inward for conflict. When we as a republic can look past what is best for ourselves and realize that whats best for all citizens of our nation ultimate strengthens us we will continue to be lost in the pathetic infighting and rhetoric that we have become accustomed to. https://youtube/watch?v=q49NOyJ8fNA
