I love when Facebook asks Whats on your mind? Well really a ton is on my mind. Everyday there are is a TON of things that weigh heavy on my mind -- the one thing today is peoples assumptions! I love when people assume things. I have done it myself. I have looked at someone or read a post and have assumed the worst or passed judgement and for that I am sorry. What I would like to do with my own assumptions is to stop them in their tracks -- sometimes that is hard because we are human and we like to pretend we are so different than others or we are better off etc. Facebook is great way for those assumptions to spread like wild fire. They can actually be very detrimental to someones life. People really need to think - think if it is helping someone, think if you are going to destroy someone --- I posted something about the Oasis Cafe in Stillwater--I dont know them and I have never even been there. There should be NO reason an employee is having to defend his bosses character to a bunch of people that do not even know him!! I see the stuff happen even in our own little towns around here. Someone says something and then it spreads and when people are not strong enough to make up their own minds and form their own opinions it is easy for them to jump on the horrible train of thinking -- be kind, be gracious, be humbled, be thankful, be inspiring, be that person that you admire and people will admire you! Just BE NICE!!!!!!!!!
