I loved Robin Williams. I am old enough to have watched him before he was a big movie star. I loved Mork & Mindy and before that his appearances as Mork on Happy Days. I have watched all his standup shows and laughed until I cried during all of them. I loved how he took care of medical bills for his old friend and schoolmate, Christopher Reeves aka Superman, after his tragic accident. But.. If this turns out to be a suicide I am afraid I will never be able to look at him the same way. Suicides make me angry. Its the ultimate selfish act. You arent thinking about all the people you leave behind in misery. You arent thinking about the others who may now do the same because they saw the reaction you got when you did it. Studies have shown suicides often increase when broadcast. Christopher Reeves was paralyzed from the neck down and fought for every breath he could get. I will try to remember the whole of his life but I have never wanted to hear the words accidental overdose so bad in my life.
