I loved most of my time in Windsor. I wouldnt trade it. But theres something about living in a rural location you just cant duplicate authentically in an urban suburb - a real sense of community. And the utter simplicity of rural life. Tonight Im going to a Lamington bake-off (for real charity purposes). Rural people dont set up not-for-profit orgs (to become obscenely wealthy from the profits and avoid tax?). They set up real events which aid the local community. Everyone volunteers their time and experience (And I challenge anyone to bake a Lamington like a country woman). More info to follow as it unfolds. Prepare yourselves for some REAL BREAKING NEWS of importance! There was a show on the ABC in the early 70s called Aunty Jack. They had a segment Whats on in Woolongong? And I remember them hunting lamingtons over the cliffs of Stanwell Park (the hang-gliding centre of Australia). I cant find it on YouTube (yet), so Ill give you Aunty Jack (who is really Jordan Kupe from School Of 7 Bells in disguise). Note the similarity. Olivia Walker Will Powerr
