I loved this song the first time i heard it, it gave me such feeling, almost like Macklemore x Ryan Lewis same love song, but after watching the video i was in love with it even more... Being someone who comes from a broken religion and a hypocritical church...this song just painted a picture... Weve turned church into a place where people go to judge others, where ppl go to praise a God they dont really serve, where ppl go to ask for forgiveness and go on with their day and maybe sin some more, where ppl only believe in certain parts of the bible because its convenient... I dont believe everyone who goes to church should be a saint, were human, we sin... but it is also a sin to judge others sins. i dont doubt for one second that there are ppl in church that really have given their heart & soul to God, and that theyve helped so many ppl because ive seen it first hand, but i have also seen those same ppl who preach love and forgiveness throw their own family out in a cold night, ive seen those same ppl have a broken marriage due to infidelity, ive seen those same ppl have kids before marriage, ive seen those same ppl cheat on their wives, ive seen those same ppl going to jail because of domestic violence, ive seen those same ppl leave their husband for a lawyer who makes more money than him... ...and i might be making some of you uncomfortable reading this... but im saying all this because next time you decided to judge me for not going to church every day like i used to, or next time you decide to judge someone for being gay, next time you judge someone for having some drinks, next time you judge someone for making bad decisions, next time you judge someone for having kids before marriage, NEXT TIME YOU START HAVING THAT SLIGHT THOUGHT OF JUDGING AND THROWING A ROCK AT SOMEONE...LOOK INTO THAT BAG AND YOULL REALIZE THERE MIGHT BE A COUPLE ROCKS... BUT ITS ONLY HEAVY BECAUSE OF ALL THE SINS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE CARRYING... were all human, not perfect. SEE, I BELIEVE IN A GOD OF LOVE, IN A HIGHER POWER, IN A POSITIVE ENERGY, I STOPPED BELIEVING IN MY BROKEN RELIGION AND HYPOCRITICAL CHURCH MANY YEARS AGO, AND I CAN HONESTLY SAY ME AND GOD HAVE HAD THE CLOSEST RELATIONSHIP EVER SINCE...
