I made a couple of Theremin recordings, but upon listening to them I find them far too embarrassing to post even here, let alone on YouTube. Even my attempts at producing musical scales, while they sounded somewhat OK during the performance, sound a lot worse in the file I made. The recording is also a little rough, as I patched the Etherwave directly into the line in port of my Olympus VN8100 digital recorder. The Theremins default volume does not overdrive or distort, but there is some buzzing and static that I havent yet isolated or eliminated. I feel so inadequate after having heard the recordings, but then again Ive only had the thing for three days. Im wondering if I do a duel line in patch with a throat mic along with the Theremin might solve some of the static problems or make them worse, but I will have to check to find out.
