I made a hot drink that our great grandma Victoria Mora and grandma Sarah Mora Higuera and Gloria S . HIGUERA CARMICHAEL and I Cynthia M.Carmichael-Marruffo-Lucero been making it for years and now I thought I would share it with my family the one who remember them making it for us as we were kids (Atole ) is the name of the drink Its cinnamon tea in a medium pot bring to a boil with the 3 sticks of cinnamon then take the sticks out add the mix of 2 Tbsp of corn starch and 2 Tbsp of flour put into a drinking cup then add 1/2 water to flour & cornstarch until its a liquid then add to cinnamon tea but use a wisky it into the mixture until it gets thicken up after that if you get lumps just use a strainer to take them out then put it back in the pot add the can milk and the add sugar to your taste I like it sweet so try it to your taste
