I made a (lengthy) comment on an AF Times editorial that was, I think, supposed to be a warning about cutting benefits impacting recruiting and retention of the force. The editorial got pretty sidetracked with a bunch of thems and theys and then somehow the G.222s we bought for the Afghan military were thrown out there as an example of money that could be going to A1C Schmuckatellis benefits package if only we hadnt wasted it on junk cargo aircraft. (The G.222 buy was a waste of money, I wont argue that, I will argue on the impact that it had on the funding of benefits for the military.) I usually dont reply or respond to comments on my comments on ESPN, AF Times, or any site that uses DISQUS, but its funny to see the mass of so-and-so replied to your comment notifications I get. The JQP universe has chimed in so I expect to get beat up hard over it because my painkiller-influenced rant was all over the place and not very coherent with its message, The writer of this editorial should go back to writing school. Ugh.
