I made a statement tonight that the student does not know more than the teacher. I am to the point right now, where continually talking about how the response from the citizens in Ferguson to the decision to not charge Darren Wilson for killing Michael Brown Jr., seems to be creating more separation rather than serving as a unifying call for effective interventions. There are specific pitfalls in National Consciousness, that if ignored makes it fairly easy to co-opt the struggle of an oppressed people to liberate themselves. This is especially true when there is no effective system in place among the oppressed, to measure accountability.
