I made it through surgery just fine. Pain is finally under reasonable control (if not perfect) and at the moment its a headache thats bothering me more than the ankle. I was able to get out of bed and took a quick stroll around the room with a walker. No weight bearing or driving for at least six weeks, which Im having a tough time wrapping my head around. Ugh. Thanks everyone for the well wishes and prayers. Oh, and Paul, Dina and Gerrit all stopped by to see me tonight. We shared some laughs and despite my grogginess I thoroughly enjoyed their visit.
