I made this Halloween craft last night! I figured I should get this in before the Christmas crafts start taking over. Try it! Youll need: Hurricane glass vase/candle holders Spooky lace fabric (I used a spiderweb lace cut from an old costume) Needle and thread and/or push pins A candle or no-flame light. Measure the height and diameter of the glass and cut your fabric to match. If using a straight ruler, double the diameter to get enough fabric to cover the circumference. If using a measuring tape, just measure around the entire glass. Keep in mind this works better if you cut a little short of the measurement so that the lace stretches over the glass evenly and fits snug once secured. Once measured you can sew a straight line vertically down the height of the fabric. I opted for pushpins as a quick and temporary trial. Once finished, flip inside out and slide over glass. I then took a needle and thread and secured the fabric at the base and along the top to ensure an even stretch. Here is how it turned out. Love it!!!
