I made this artwork about 2 years ago now. After collecting my empty pill packets, I thought I could put them to good use. The idea behind it was that I took a tablet every day to get better, but I also had to deal with the consequences that came with taking it as well. Each one had a positive from taking the pill, but also a negative that may happen. As you can see in the second photo, the good that came come from taking the tablets would be curing the disease, but the warning is it can cause death... It was an idea about weighing the good against the bad. Taking the risk if it meant for the chance to get better. I used 273 different pill packets in this artwork and that was only 3 months worth. In that number, 149 were anti-nausea tablets... Yes, thats 149 different times I felt sick in such a short time..
