I may actually get sick after I hit post on this one.... 1984 Kramer Banana Neck - R5 nut width, brown stain binding, luthier-joint** Long story short - this came on a Voyager I bought almost 4 years ago. A few years back, I took it off for another Kramer project (that I am still trying to finish - many of you know). Recently, I decided to go with a non-luthier 85 nana neck for my project as its an 85 body. In a last ditch effort to use this neck, I kept it for an 84 FRS body of mine but its just not going to work (too tight in neck pocket and I need some room for adjustment/alignment). **Heres the deal, Im selling this as a project neck due to the infamous luthier-joint slip...look, Ive probably owned 10 of these necks over the years and probably half of them had an issue with the joint. Like everything else, there are varying degrees of separation on these and only one of the necks Ive had I considered a lost cause (although someone bought that one too). This one had a slightly thicker shim under the R5 nut and it played great. Frets show minor wear on the first couple - please see pics. Ive tried to show the slight kickback to the 1st fret...again, its slight but its there. If you run your hand across the joint, you can feel it slightly...its there but nothing that impedes playing. Im going to price this the same as the two others Ive sold in the past. ***SOLD***
