I may have already posted this before, but here is a great way to save money... We are completely off of cable and satellite TV, I was tired of paying so much for basically what I could get for free. We got a very cool outdoor antenna, and my husband put it up right where the DirecTV dish used to be. It cost about $50 at Amazon, and looks like the old-fashioned one, but a bit scaled-down in size. That way, we get ALL of the local network stations for free, including at least 2 PBS stations! Everything else I get online! We stream Netflix for about $9 a month, and almost everything else (including many full-length movies) is available on YouTube and even the network TVs own websites (which also has tons of great archived stuff!). The drawback is you cant get quite as much sports, only what they play live on network (which is at least a handful of football games a week, for example). Its awesome! I just wish Id done it sooner. :)
