I may have mentioned that my wife, the lovely and talented Sammie Bordeaux-Seeger, is in Santa Fe, NM for a week, doing work on her MFA in Poetry. She texted me a photo of her dinner last night -- a huge platter of Mexican food, including a blue corn taco, chiles rellenos, rice and beans, and fresh salsa. I managed not to call her a bad name -- she knows mexican food is my Kryptonite -- and countered with the fact that my brother-in-law was grilling steaks. Yum. But alas, now it is zero-dark-ought, and I am waiting for my ride to dialysis. Such is life.
