Sorry, Ill take traditional any day. At least the old school conservatives understood that democracy only works through a technique of compromise in which neither party gets what it wants. Im a tolerant guy, and it bothers me that I seem to be slowly becoming less so, but when I see people who support or tolerate the increasingly rabid, greedy. short-sighted and cruel policies of the new breed, it really makes me look at these people in a new light, especially when the worst they can accuse me of is a compassionate belief that everyone should have a shot at the elusive and now almost mythological American Dream.
