I, me, MYSELF doesnt care what Guro So and So thinks, nor do I value the opinions of a guy who knew a guy who knows a guy who once held the sweat towel for Master XYZ. There are martial artists and then there are fighters. We all have view points and opinions. Martial artists fight over opinions and whine over theory. Fighter are too busy doing the work themselves to care what others think. Never once in all my years of training has one of these legendary masters influenced, affected, helped my wins/loses, nor have they done the work for me. Inspiration only goes so far...then the individual has to let go. Most wont. Most cant. Perhaps the world needs more individuals and less men who hold on to the words, thoughts and approval of those who were busy doing it themselves. In the end, what does it matter at all to you what a persons views are? Youll never been their for their success or failure anyway.
