Whatever your party, these people did not do the right thing: m.theatlantic/politics/archive/2013/10/32-republicans-who-caused-the-government-shutdown/280236/ If you are a lawmaker and you do not like some previously-made law, then you do your job and get another law passed repealing it. You do not hold the government of the people you work for hostage until a nebulous somebody fixes things to the way you want them, especially if you cant even enumerate the way you want things. These people have behaved like children, and it would make my lifetime if none of them ever got an elected office again.
