I met Ahmad Naboulsi when he was in high school. He was a debater; not one of my FHN students, but in the debate community, its sort of like an extended family among coaches and students from a variety of schools. While Ahmad was in college at MSU, our paths crossed again, during the summer SDIs. He is now teaching in Phoenix through Teach For America, and I have proudly watched him become a rising star in the education field. Ahmad is EXACTLY the kind of person we need more of in our profession. This video is just but one example of his commitment to the kids he teaches, and to the community he teaches in.
