I met Bob and Joan at Laura Harpers house in Hollywood Hills near Pandoras Box in 65-66 I hung out there with Ricky Harper Lauras son and Jackson Browne his Close friend. They were having hi- level anti-war activist many meetings to organize anti-war peace marches coordinating with the East Coast marches. Ricky and Jackson knew all of that happening artists on the music scene around Hollywood at that time... Those were some of the most interesting and exciting times in my life! I played guitar and sang at The world famous, Pandoras Box coffee shop for James Kunkle owner, a couple nights a week, who I got to be good friends with later in life up in Grad Valley, California. I met all the music artists and a lot of actors like Peter and Jane Fonda, and Jack Nicholson to name a few... They were pretty young back then too... Just a simple twist of fate... In 65 I was 17! along with Jackson Browne and Ricky Harper... When I went back to Washington I worked with wood craft Meyer and concerts flashed and helped put together the 69 Seattle Pops Festival and Lighter than air fare on my 21st Birthday! Ricky Harper went on to work with Little Feat and Jackson Browne of course chiefly responsible for promoting the Eagles with Linda Ronstadt...
